Ogilvy Illumination can better position public communication strategies by ensuring they take account of the available body of secondary research and online information sources. We search Australian and international literature including academic and think tank research, government documents, statistical data, traditional media coverage and social media to determine contemporary thinking and best practice in an area.

Secondary research can help ensure:

  • Positions put by clients in white papers and submissions to government are supported by research findings which are presented in a meaningful way and, importantly, account for any opposing arguments
  • Public communications are evidence-based
